When London conservationist Adam (Game of Thrones' Joseph Mawle) and his wife Clare (Bojana Novakovic, Devil, Drag Me To Hell) move with their infant son to a remote house near the Irish forest, they quickly find their new neighbors unwelcoming. The discovery of a gruesome "zombie fungus" growing in the house is just the beginning, as the surrounding woods spew forth a terrifying array of folkloric banshees, baby snatchers, and demons. This film is a surprise hit. It may not be the most terrifying film on the market and feels slightly derivative of others (specifically Don't be afraid of the dark) but don't let that stop you from enjoy this film. The story picks up action fairly quickly and will have you holding onto the edge of your seat by the time the credits roll. As an added bonus the creature effects are top-notch, some of the best I've seen.

Honest review - this jumps right into the horror. So if you don't want to wait around this would be a good film. Although the drawback is essential information, and plot holes. I question a lot of the motives, and they truly are not a smart couple. Although for a quick horror fix it works.

Decent movie, but it wasn't worth the money that I paid to rent it. Anyway, I wish that the movie would've gone more into the back story of those things in the woods I'll give it a 3 star rating. Wait until it hits Netflix
