About this movie

When a police officer is demoted to deskwork, he expects a sleepy beat as an emergency dispatcher. That all changes when he answers a panicked phone call from a kidnapped woman who then disconnects abruptly. Confined to the police station, he is forced to use others as his eyes and ears as the severity of the crime slowly becomes more clear. The search to find the missing woman and her assailant will take every bit of his intuition and skill, as a ticking clock and his own personal demons conspire against him.

Anyone who says this is slow or boring has the attention span and intellect of a dead gnat. It's incredibly tense and draws you in from the very start as a police officer struggles to help a kidnapped woman, all from the distance of a telephone line. The reason I have given it five stars is it grows and grows and each revelation feels natural and not forced. The central performance by Jakob Cedergren is absolutely mesmerizing and he conveys so much without ever resorting to histrionics. If you like engrossing taut thrillers which don't treat their audiences like mugs you must watch this - there's a reason it got 99% on Rotten Tomatoes

Horrible but wonderful if you can't sleep. It will bore you into deep delta rim sleep for a week.

Good story, but it's a slow one-man show, not a real thriller. Very boring.
