Really scared me could never watch it on my own. The Japanese make great horror films that don't always work when reproduced in a different language. But this did.

... behind the Grudge 3 ... good use of sound (pitch and volume) to create that shiver and the hairs standing up on the back of your neck.

Anyone that preferred the American remake to this amazing film doesn't know what makes a good horror. They somehow sucked all of the tension & feeling out of the story.
