About this movie

The mastermind behind the Hostel franchise and Cabin Fever, horror auteur Eli Roth, serves up a feast of gut-wrenching terror in the gruesome fear-fest The Green Inferno. Determined to protect the Amazon rainforest, a group of student activists fly to Peru only to crash-land deep in the jungle. Captured by a pack of bloodthirsty cannibals, the survivors suffer unspeakable acts of butchery at the hands of the very tribe they were trying to save. A non-stop barrage of carnage and chills, The Green Inferno is an unhinged blast! - 2015 Universal Studios. All Rights Reserved.

The Green Inferno was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Right from the start, I immediately knew how terrible this film was about to be. Eli Roth (the producer of the film) had to have been on countless amounts of drugs when putting together this horrible "movie." It was beyond stupid, comical, and a complete waste of my time and money. Save yourself the embarrassment of watching this mediocre piece of dirt. Worst selection I have ever made.

There's a difference between horror and just down right disturbing. The nudity is another thing that bothered me, that was unnecessary. I don't know why the girl would say nice things about the cannibals after she witnessed and experienced all those disgusting things they do to people. Those cannibals were so horrid that I was rooting for the bulldozers to tear down their tribe

This is a take off of the Giallo films showcasing Cannibals. I've seen Cannibal Holocaust and this looks like the same story line. A group of foreigners go into South America trying to do research/document/stop the people of whatever country they are going to. They get into some type of accident and somehow upset a group of natives who "eat humans".... This is nothing new or original. Mr. Roth can do better than that. Stop copying what's been done before and come up with something new. People in the Horror genre, wells have gone dry. They lost that spark that they had when Horror was still in it's golden age(from early to late 20th century). Horror today is one big pile of dog sh*t next!..... This deserves no stars but there is no option for that so I will have to give it one star. Man what has become of horror in the 21st century?
