About this movie

They were known simply as "The Lost Boys". Orphaned by the brutal civil war in Sudan that began in 1983, these young victims traveled as many as a thousand miles on foot in search of safety. 15 years later, a humanitarian effort would bring 3,600 lost boys and girls to America. Starring Oscar® winner Reese Witherspoon, their story of survival and triumph is brought to life by Oscar®-winning producers Ron Howard and Brian Grazer.

I didn't feel any real emotion here, the movie felt generalized & a bit generic. Experts say the lost boys & girls of Sudan, they are some of the most badly war-traumatized children ever, & I would liked to have seen the actors developed a little bit more.

watching this movie just pointed out that not every movie has to be "dramatic" per say in its story telling, it just has to be real. It points out the reality that faces us today. As i am of African descent, watching this just reminds me of where my roots are and how people go through a lot to make it. This movie is truly a great watch and great eye opener on how sometimes we take advantage of what we have. Every one has a story...
