This slick fourth film is very closely based on the 4th book, published Aug2015 some years after the first films, setting of 2000-10. Different as the Author intended. Unlike the three Stieg Larsson books, circa 2000-10. This film is very different as we see Lizbeth today a 30-something, survived her 20s and the fight for victims of "Män som hatar kvinnor" continues. Stockholm 2014-15. Wi-Fi is everywhere, a Hacker's gift. Women & Kids, some men still bad. Impressed, must read SPIDER'S book.

Just paid $20 and I'm about 30 minutes in regretting spending the money considering turning it off. B grade acting .. bad scripting .. and just not the same without Noomi. I do like that Stephen Merchant is in it though he makes me happy but I think its just because I love Idiot Abroad and Logan.

The sort of spinoff that feels unnecessary and forgettable. 'The Girl in the Spider's Web' can barely fit into the strengths of its critically acclaimed predecessors while delivering subpar thrills and a questionable message.
