But I have to say, this movie - the entire Swedish series of movies - are fantastic. The character development is less dramatic, but more intimate, and in a way it feels more like watching the book unfold. I liked the US Hollywood version for what it was - an amped up, hollywood-style version of the story - but it didn't have the same feel as the books for me, that's where the Swede's version stands out.

From the acting, to the staging of the movie, this does everything that the Hollywood version failed to do. All of the actors turn in performances worthy of the novel. It has all of the subtleties that made the novels so popular & doesn't fall into the dismal abyss that became the Craig version of this movie. This one has it all. Enjoy! Nuff Said
