The Fox And The Hound

As one of my all time favorite movies, Todd & Copper resonate so much more than just trublue friendship. It soaks of acceptance and overcoming differences as well as standing up for each other and bring there when the other is needed. With equal amounts of light and dark storytelling it tried of the balance and sacrifice natures beasties face against mankind. As always it's a love story, friendship, family and little lessons in humanity and syncopated harmony with nature, it's a must watch. X π

I have never seen a cute, beautiful animated movie with so much heart, so much emotion, and a friendship between tod and copper that's very authentic as Fox And The Hound. Even with a simple amount of layers can make this movie strong and emotional. Not to mention the storytelling is very strong. The score by Buddy Baker is one of the best scores i've ever heard. This film has a stellar cast for the perfect characters. The charming hand-drawn animation captures the realism of the countryside and the forests. There are moments where the animals move accuratly as the real animals in our world. The theme about friendship is about 2 childhood friends who have grown apart as adults because of the main villian of the film. A nasty relentless cold-hearted hunter! So you can really relate to the characters and their friendship because of how real it feels. Most of the character's behaviors reflect the real behaviors of real people, but most of the characters are very caring and have very big hearts. Best of all: it has a strong important message about protecting wildlife, leaving the animals alone, empathy, and caring for others. This is one of the best movies of the 1980s.

It's life between nature and people. I really enjoy this movie very much - it can be sad at times. There is another movie by Disney - called Perri (this is with real animals - I saw this movie when I was younger - it came out in1958 & I still love it today!!). You should find that movie and watch it too!!
