a long debated question, friendship between a man and a woman, to make this film a lighthearted comedy from start to finish. They couldn't have chosen better than Zoe Kazan for one of the big roles, and a discovery to me, Megan Park, as her sister, whose obvious acting talents and screen presence will serve her very well in the not distant future. For those who want to spend a "cute" hour and a half.

This is film with a directing wire that is at once evident and unencumbering. The casting is absolutely rewarding (although I had misgivings about Radcliffe before starting to watch it). I was not sure about the cartoonish additions (animations on the walls, 80s overdubbed icons, paper cuts stop animation) but in the end it works unexpectedly well. The actors (be it Kazan and Radcliffe, but also Driver, Park and Davis) visibly put much of their own souls in the performance and this helps the movie a lot. Nice little gem.

I was completely surprised. The fact that I now see "Harry Potter", as a grown man, and believed in his character, blew me away. This is a wonderful story, between friends, and whether to risk crossing "the line", and risk it all, for love.
