About this movie

Take an adventure in the secret world inside your smartphone to Textopolis, a bustling city where all your favorite emojis live. In this world, each emoji has only one facial expression – except for Gene (T.J. Miller), who is bursting with multiple expressions. Determined to become “normal”, Gene enlists the help of his handy best friend Hi-5 (James Corden) and the notorious code breaker emoji Jailbreak (Anna Faris). Together, these unlikely heroes embark on an epic “app-venture” through the apps on the phone, each its own wild and fun world, to find the code that will fix Gene!

This movie is a masterpiece, this has helped me with my deep depression, I've tried to kill myself 69 times in the last year....but this has helped me stop my streak of suicide attempts. This movie is like a beautiful waterfall....so refreshing....so relaxing....so brilliant. I honestly think this movie is to good to be true. I'd even go as far as saying this is a spiritual successor to something like the notebook or Forrest gump it's that brilliant and too good to be true. The romance between gene and that girl emoji is so tender and relatable. And gene and hi-5's friendship is very amazing yet, also relatable. The ideas for this movie are so crazy and brilliant, even I wouldn't be able to come up with such ideas such as, having a bar for all the lowlife emojis is brilliant and matches with the real world. I can go on and on but this review may get a bit long. But overall, this movie is one of the best movies to come out of 2017 and Will be one of the most memorable movies for years to come. 5/5 stars, such perfection.

Worst animted film with current visuals. Only thing good about it is it's simplicity and it's visual, which while current for 2019, are not groundbreaking. Voice acting, story, writing are all bottom of the creative barrel and if I were you I would look somewhere else for entertainment. The only good thing this ever did was the hilarious reactions to its barbarous existence.

I hated it so much I mean oh my god I didn't even understand how gene exploded when jailbreak moved him next to the yellow thing and then reappeared looking like nothing happened to him. Just WORST MOVIR EVER.
