About this movie

A young American couple discover a rumored sunken World War II munitions ship while skin diving off the coast of Bermuda. Among the relics they find a cache of drugs recently stashed there, and before they know it they are embroiled in a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse with the gangsters who stashed it. It may be from the 1970's but it hasn't lost any of it's appeal. Simple story penned by Peter Benchley who also wrote Jaws and stars Robert Shaw who played the fated shark hunter in Jaws. Highly recommended!

A great underwater thriller, with amazing underwater photography and likeable characters. Jacqueline Bisset is good in her role and unforgettably alluring in her underwater scenes.

Always been a firm favourite of mine The Deep. Shaw is brillaint as Treece. Under water shots are great. I like the character of Kevin too.
