About this movie

Christian Bale and director Christopher Nolan reunite following their blockbuster success with Batman Begins! This time, Heath Ledger joins the cast as The Joker, and Aaron Eckhart stars as Harvey Dent in an all-new adventure of The Dark Knight. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and new district attorney Harvey Dent (Eckhart--Thank You for Smoking), Batman sets out to destroy organized crime in Gotham City forever. The three enjoy early success, but they soon find themselves prey to a rising criminal mastermind known as The Joker (Ledger--Brokeback Mountain), who throws Gotham into anarchy and forces Batman ever closer to crossing the line between hero and vigilante.

Warning! Does not play in 4k on a big screen. For me i could only get close to 4k on my phone. You can't even cast your phone to your screen as a message pops up saying tap cast is unsupported and only chrome cast will work. So basically you have to pay £60 for the 4k chrome cast to watch your 4k film. I was trying to watch on pc which is connected to my projector but could only manage 480p.

As good as it gets for Superhero movies, this is a stellar movie in every way, it makes the Disney's Marvel children's movies look and feel like cartoons in comparison, this is the play for DC, forget the divisive identity politics and woke virtue signalling and stop trying to copy Disney with the MsheU and do standalone movies, Harley deserved better, keep it standalone, keep to the source, WB should buy Spawn rights and give it to J.D Washington with someone like Nolan directing.

Best movie of The Dark Knight (reboot of) Christopher Nolan trilogy of Batman's DC comics films and comics, better than the Batman Forever and Batman & Robin (1995 to 1997)
