A friend recommended this movie to me. She made it sound a lot better than it actually was but that's not why i'm giving it two stars. The movie made me love the character (the Craigslist killer) and put way too much focus on the relationship then his crimes. It is definitely a "Hallmark" movie. I did find myself enjoying the romantic moments because I do have a soft spot for those things and watching their lives evolve was nice. In the end though I found myself still attached to the Killer because I didn't see evil and true darkness. Now i'm going to say 70% of this movie is romance, 15% are the crimes and the rest is of the police and his social life; of course they had to fit this into a 90 minute film but I really feel it needed more time. I would not leave any parts out of the movie because it was well scripted making it feel very real. I just need to see more of the monster to understand his mind. Overall I felt like the movie was short and unfocused, when I watch a movie about a killer I want to see into their mind and their world. They got the world right but they were so focused on emotions and love they missed the mark for a "killer" movie. I wouldn't recommend this.
