You might as well see the Rockey Horror Picture Show, its got more story and more plot. For the first time ever, I wish I never rented it, or watched it. Those who give it 5 stars must have been paid to do so, because even as art, it was terrible.

The narcotics world comes to life in all its ugliness: the simple mis/calculations that lead to the deaths of innocents. Some scenes carry the scariest dialogues in film, especially between the Counselor and that Mexican cartel boss. First I'd heard of Antonio Machado; just had to look him up...

I really wanted to be proven wrong on this movie from the buzz i heard about it. Slow paced scenes with scattered dialogue wreck this movie. As roger ebert once said "thumbs down"
