Don't quite understand the hate via reviews here. This was obviously made for the everyday lemmings, not the redpilled crowd. In this sense it is good that it didn't try to go too deep and treaded lightly in an attempt to wake up the complacent newbies to reality. Might not work short term, but long term people are waking up to the obvious nonsense that nothing is for free and a controlled hive mind is not only creepy but dangerous, especially when those at the top pulling the strings are exempt - both old and new. Come on, we are all using evil alphabet google soup to comment here so get off your high horses. Acting could have been better however that is usually a director/direction issue, but definitely not a one star. That said, its not a five star either.

Surprisingly better than the book (don't read the book if you were disappointed with this movie). I wasn't expecting much, but was happy that they modified the story line. However, I was keen to see the romantic relationship between Mae (Emma Watson) and Ty (John Boyega) that they formed in the book.

Posed many interesting concepts about the future of technology, privacy and human rights but just at the point where the plot was about to get really good, it just stopped. The story line halted very abruptly with no resolution or conclusion. Would not recommend this film at all.
