I really wanted to enjoy this. I am a Joss Whedon fan. I loved Buffy. But this movie isn't funny. Obviously it's not a horror movie and I get that. I was craving thrills and chills but I would have settled for laughs. But it just wasn't funny. Maybe it would have been funny ten years ago.

Waste of money; just painful to watch even though it does have an original premise. I must admit I turned it off halfway through viewing as it had zero atmosphere or tension and I couldn't care what happened to any of the characters.

For fans of the horror movie genre this gives the genre a new twist and a breath of fresh air. I loved it. I sat down to watch a horror movie and got a comedy/horror/psychological thriller with an ending I wasn't expecting.
