About this movie

Break out the double knits and roll out the Astroturf, because The Bunch is back in a groovy, good-time "romp for all ages" (Bonnie Churchill, National News Syndicate). Mike (Gary Cole) and Carol (Shelley Long) have just one week to come up with $20,000 in back taxes or they'll lose their house to a scheming neighbour (Michael McKean). To make matters worse, Marcia gets a swollen nose on date night, Cindy's addicted to tattling, and Jan's hearing a psychotic inner voice crying "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!" Of course, these are the Bradys, and when the kids enter a talent contest with a $20,000 purse, well, let's just say,"It's A Sunshine Day!" With appearances by Florence Henderson, Barry Williams, Ann B. Davis, Christopher Knight and dreamy ex-Monkee Davy Jones, The Brady Bunch is "an absolute laugh riot from beginning to end" (Barry ZeVan, Channel America).

WOW! I'm impressed at how well they were able to recreate the original show. In fact, you could argue that this is just an extended version of an ordinary Brady Bunch episode (but set in a more modern time). It's almost a greatest hits remake of the show and I love how they've made the Brady's aliens to the world around them. Simply a fun movie to watch anytime with loads of innuendos to spice up the dogooder nature of the family.

A Brady doesn't realize they're from the '70s. Products of divorce, they chose to live their simple lives contently within a bubble of perpetual optimism.

It's hard to believe that this movie is 20 years old, and the source material is 40... For anyone who grew up in the 70's or the 90's, this should be a hilarious throwback. For Gen-z, you're welcome.
