About this movie

Melissa McCarthy (Bridesmaids, The Heat) stars as Michelle Darnell, a titan of industry who is sent to prison for insider trading. After doing her time, Michelle emerges, ready to rebrand herself as America's latest sweetheart, but not everyone she steamrolled is so quick to forgive and forget. With nowhere to go and no one to scam, Michelle is forced to move in with former assistant Claire (Kristen Bell - Frozen, Showtime's House of Lies) and her young daughter, Rachel. Now at her lowest point, Michelle wastes no time in devising a winner-take-all plan to rebuild her empire. Can she reclaim her status as the No. 1 screwer, or will the love of one family screw her for good? (Original Title - The Boss) - 2016 Universal Studios. All Rights Reserved.

This was a horrible waste of time, there was nothing funny in the first 40 minutes of this movie, I ended up not finishing it. Nothing could redeem this train wreck, she must have realized this was a bad movie when she got on set and just phoned it in or something. There has to be a logical explanation for how flat her acting was. This is the worst Melissa Mccarthy movie I have seen so far, I usually enjoy what she does. Usually its hard to make it 5 minutes without laughing this one it's hard to not fall asleep.

.....DO NOT waste your time on this CRAP! At first glance, I thought, "Ok. She's funny. How bad could it be?" Well, it was far worse than I expected and little did I know, the REAL joke was on the viewing audience who paid to see it! A 10 year old could have done a better job of directing and editing this hodge podge of a debacle! And have we REALLY gotten to the point in society, where repeated cursing with minors involved, mostly under 15, is considered funny???

Melissa McCarthy was A BIG FLOP OF DISAPOINTMENT. FIRST, I FOUND MYSELF SCRATCHING at my neck a lot. ( turtle neck sweaters glued to her face, hid her chubby chin, vanity ?more hers then character she portrayed ). Then I realized...I was scratching my head ! Little girls, filthy language, constant reference to 'blow jobs 'get yu a'head' in life...a sexual fixation on a ' Adam Sandler WANNABE MIDGET '.NOTHING FUNNY,no real direction.
