A Raw, dread-filled ambient and hynotically told tale. Truly expertly crafted horror films are finally being made more and more and it started in my opinion with "The Conjuring" and "Insidious" and has gotten more epicly frequent and better with films like Oculas, The Babadook, It follows, The Witch, The Devil's Candy just to name afew and ironically dumb horror fans who THINK they are REAL horror fans do not care for the film's I've mentioned because they are pretty much ALL psychological, eerie, very little traditional scares and are for THINKING horror fans who can be patient and appreciate true SLOW-burn horror films that truly are works of art. Watch Chris Stuckmann's "The problem with horror films today" video on YouTube, I agree with EVERY single solitary thing he says and he IS factually correct and not just stating opinions. My Twitter and FB is @harrymcallister if you found my thoughts interesting or true or insightful lol(Yeah Suuuuuuure) But have a truly wonderful happy day to whomever reads this and my social media apps are open if you are interested in chatting it up or if you are feeling down/depressed or needs someone to talk to:-) Whomever is reading this you ARE epicly awesome and I love you :-)

Incredibly well made movie. Tension is built from beginning to end - slowly. By the end of the film, you're on edge. The director of this movie (also directed Netflix's Pretty little thing that lives in the house) clearly loves tragedy, and there's plenty of that in this film. A horror film that stays with you long after you've watched it, and one that makes you question the things some of us are willing to sacrifice to feel alive.

A really great horror movie. It relies on actually building suspense and making things scary using music and imagery rather than just using cheap jump scares. The movie doesn't insult your intelligence and spoon feed you the story and answers but at the same time it isn't overly complicated and abstract. This is what horror should be and in my opinion it is the best of the genre.
