About this movie

Walter, once a successful and happy family man, has hit rock bottom. But, in his darkest hour, he finds a rather unusual savior: a beaver hand-puppet that takes over Walter's life in an attempt to change things for the better. Academy Award winner Jodie Foster directs and co-stars with Academy Award winner Mel Gibson in a film critics call "bold", "complex" and "funny."

I was completely into this while my friend seemed to have zoned out. I think it was indie in the since of "I don't/haven't seen another movie like this". Plus, the use of the disorders he has and that ending just made it even better.

I don't suffer from depression and don't know anyone that does, so I can't say I understand. I hope if you do, or someone you know does, they find help. This movie was great! Great cast, dialog spot on and had me tear up a few times.
