Wow...this movie surpassed my expectations greatly. I thought Raimi's trilogy was too much to live up to for Marc Webb but wow... This movie was better than Spiderman 1 and 3 and was my favourite movie of 2012. Yes, I liked it more than the Avengers....Can you believe that! Also I think James Horner's soundtrack was great.....for a little kids movie! For this dark and more realistic movie you need someone like Hans Zimmer to compose the music to make it feel like an epic movie. However, I must admit I sometimes hum Horner's soundtrack rhythm in the shower and I don't know why.....

This movie was just jaw dropping. Garfield nailed the role, along with having great chemistry with Emma Stone. Peter was such a relatable character and the soundtrack was amazing. The only thing I was bummed about was the villain choice; it could've been better, but it does fit in with the storyline. Best Spider-Man movie yet, with Spider-Man 2 slightly tagging behind. A must watch!
