I love Blake lively, beautiful woman. But this movie failed to woah me. Or woo me as one might say... Odd story line which I was intrigued since I loved A time Travelers Wife (recommend if to everyone, the movie did NOT do the book justice) but this one was a little slow for me and I didn't really see the love sparking in the characters as much as I would like that would make the movie better. It's not an awful movie but it is not exceptional

I enjoyed the movie.I felt as if Blake Lively was trying to play her as a closed off 100 yr. old woman. Well spoken and appropriately awkward, I thought for a person who couldn't get close even to her own child, I could imagine her pain ,her great loss during the scenes where she reminisced. She seemed prudish which is also appropriate for the time period 1900's . So I say it's a lovely Sunday evening movie . I wish it could've been flushed out with more details about her daughter and family maybe even a blip on how Harrison Ford's character moved on , but a movie can only be so long. Very enjoyable.

This movie was definitely worth seeing but it is one of those that once you see it you don't need to see it again. The actors were very good but the plot felt both slow and rushed at the same time. Slow in the sense that there didn't seem to be much plot and not much character development but rushed in the sense that 100 years were covered in about two minutes. Overall it was worth seeing but I probably won't see it a second time.
