About this movie

In the early evening of August 21, 2015, the world watched in stunned silence as the media reported a thwarted terrorist attack on Thalys train #9364 bound for Paris—an attempt prevented by three courageous young Americans traveling through Europe. “The 15:17 To Paris” follows the course of the friends’ lives, from the struggles of childhood through finding their footing in life, to the series of unlikely events leading up to the attack. Throughout the harrowing ordeal, their friendship never wavers, making it their greatest weapon and allowing them to save the lives of the more than 500 passengers on board. The heroic trio is comprised of Anthony Sadler, Oregon National Guardsman Alek Skarlatos, and U.S. Air Force Airman First Class Spencer Stone, who play themselves in the film.

If this movie just honors the bravery of these men , then its done its job , but this movie goes beyond that just the fact that the roles were played by the men themselves . So glad i didn't go off the review negativity . Well done to all involved, may this movie go on to inspire people to care to show empathy for what happens to our fellow humans .

Some of the comments on here are appalling, it's amazing how many people don't read up on a film before and after they watch it. These real life heroes actually star in one of Clint Eastwood's finest films, after everything they have been though they still manage to re-inact the nightmares they have encountered to save lives of everyone onboard a Eurostar train during the terror attacks of 24th August, 2015. It also gives a very in-depth theological lesson to people willing to listen and learn, but from the comments below some people can't appreciate both elements of this film. It still shows how we very much have a problem with the world in which we live in today. Personally from myself I salute all the actors, well done for your bravery, one thing to be a solider and it's another to be a solider and an actor in real life. God bless you, I don't think I could have done it.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT waist time on this. It is bad from first to the last minute. Spare yourself
