Terminator: Dark Fate

Excellent movie if you are a fan of the first Terminators. I never could enjoy T3 and despise Genesys as it felt untrue to the originals as much as watching Alien vs Predator did to Alien and Predator aka it felt unnatural. It is both refreshing and so nostalgic to see the original characters/actors being used again for a proper telling of what happens after Judgement Day all while utilising time travel to create an alternate timeline as time travel is a major element. T3 was just unwatchable. Arnold is cool as he was the original terminator however he is not the center of attention like the other continuations made him out to be. The first two focused on Sarah Conner as does this and thats what was needed, consistency. Not another movie on how Arnold kicks butt 24/7 as there are enough movies with exactly that already! Its not super over the top amazing but, it is definately worth watching and is far better than the others especially if once again you are a Terminator fan. Just pretend anything after T2 doesnt exist like this movie does... its for the best (especially Genesys). Plus the dude below who said this is sexist sounds like a troll. Both genders kick butt in this action packed film.

I love this type of film kind of sad seeing humans being hunted down by AI again but the silly time travel thing with standing why not. Like two of the original characters returned, Carl was funny... Also except for the first two movies all the others were ignored. This is a good choice. Hope to see more Terminator movies.

Honestly I loved it. And here's why. It's essentially like Star Wars The Force Awakens to the original 3 Star Wars films. Uses a similar make up that previously worked, but with a fresh spin to it. I went in with zero expectations outside of Mackenzie Davis. I cam out rocking Grace + Dani + Sarah being badasses (Ernie is cool too). Solid action and character development throughout. Some laughs. If you remove T1 and T2, the film was overall a solid 8/10.
