About this movie

The non-human machine ruling elite of the nuclear war-torn future has dispatched a shape-shifting cyborg assassin into the past to kill a young boy because he soon will be the resistance leader against the machines. However, another android-cyborg, earlier reprogrammed with human values by the resistance, also returns from the future to save the young boy and his mother from the assassin. Special effects, both cataclysmic and dazzling, punctuate the action movie.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time. The story line in this movie is the best out of all three of the Terminator movies with Arnold Schwarzenegger in it. At the time it came out, it was the best futuristic movie that had ever been made. The "bad terminator" was liquid metal. Not even an endo-skeleton underneath. The third movie's "bad terminator" had some of the same qualities, but was not completely liquid metal. This one is the best. If Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't in the terminator movie, you shouldn't watch it. It's not the same without him.

Great special effects without cg messing it up. Arnold gets to play a robot, so his acting is actually spot on. The story will never get old either, well until robots actually do take over... This is a classic and a must see movie for the pop culture references alone. Watch it now!

Really the only required movie from the messy "trilogy." It's almost like they just remade the original movie with a proper budget, and just so happened to make one of the films that kickstarted CGI effects. Still a great movie that stands up.
