Looking back on this movie, it probably is one of the worst films that Russell and Stallone played a role in, but it's fun to watch and remember the 80's cheesy action flicks of that entire decade. I was probably about 10 years old when this movie came out and my Brother and I would make fun of it then, and we still make references to it at times even now. If you haven't seen this, I would recommend renting before buying, maybe some streaming sites have it as well like Netflix, Streampix or Prime; I purchased only because of the nostalgic effect it has on me, kind of like the movie "A Boy and his Dog" with Don Johnson, terrible movie, but I own it anyway.

These two guys did the buddy cop movie and made it work. A classic for these guys early in their careers. No one tried to steal the show, they both did a great job, great movie

I liked this movie when I saw it in the theaters, even though it was panned by the critics.
