T2: Trainspotting

The acting is top notch, and the pace is fitting for their age and times, but overall the plot doesn't grab me the way the original did and I found myself caring less about the characters, not more. I like most of Danny Boyle's directing in other films, but found myself wishing that Mike Leigh had directed this one.

Glad to see this finally got made and that content from Porno was used as well. Miller didn't end up chubby like in the book, but we all have to accept compromise. :-) Really love what Boyle did with effects and glad it didn't sell out to attempt to make more money. I think the world would love to see another one if done this well.

I am a huge fan of the first movie because it was Raw, Bold and Creative. This is film had huge potential but failed with such a weak plot! Instead of creating something new, it just rehashed the past. I kept waiting for some kind of a thrill, like the first movie was full of, and it never came. It just became a blah blah mafia movie. Big Disappointment!
