I think people are high (not literally, I'm making fun of them based on the movie content) to write any bad reviews on this. At times, I feel like people THINK they are being rebellious by un-liking a sequel, because thats the "hipster" thing to do - to appear like you are all original only. But they really act and sound like every other basic film snob that judges the movie 13 seconds in, because its the cool thing to do now. This movie was amazing. In some ways, BETTER than the first one, because it is as if we grew up with them and see how the petty issues of the past don't break who we are in the future (or present, but you know what I mean) they all grew up. Minus one doofus that no one expected to grow up. They all learned lessons in their life and continue to, just a different set of lessons just like we all do. I found myself more attached to everyone than the first one. We legitimately care about them "making it". Spud breaks my heart, I love him so much, such a good man with a huge heart, with a sick disease "addiction" that keeps him fighting to see a new day. I worry about giving spoilers so I will keep it at that. But ignore the side-winders that are writing their typical "the original is better" bs, because they know not what they do, they have no idea they are cookie cutter comment #7,567,923 on "sequels are never better" brainwashing. Its awesome. See it. I loved the updated Ewan Monologue this sequel. You will too. Enjoy! I promise, at the very least, you will REALLY REALLY DIG THE SOUNDTRACK! (cue all the unoriginal posts about the original soundtrack being better... lol)

Glad to see this finally got made and that content from Porno was used as well. Miller didn't end up chubby like in the book, but we all have to accept compromise. :-) Really love what Boyle did with effects and glad it didn't sell out to attempt to make more money. I think the world would love to see another one if done this well.

Awesome! 5/5 Didn't disappoint. Fantastic movie; great cinematography, story-line, dishes out a nostalgic feel of the first; but in a new perspective; enjoyed the atmosphere; misanthropy; and the insight into the chaotic beauty of the "counterculture." Really great flavor of words, descriptions, vibrations and introspection into the thoughts and lifestyle of addiction; captivates the euphoria and dopamine that it elicits. "Choose life."
