This film goes in the same "WTF?" category as Mulholland Drive minus the other four stars it would get for Laura Harring and Naomi Watts getting it on (being that film's). This film's only saving grace is when the credits roll

Read lots of literary theory then you'll get it. If you love a tragically flawed, insecure, and hopeless anti-heros you'll love it. This is not comedy in the normal sense but it is comedy. Kaufman's characters are my all time favorites; maybe because I identify with them so much!

This is the farthest thing from comedy.. Amazing film, beautiful, haunting and soul crushing.
