About this movie

Set in the early years of the 22nd Century, Supernova chronicles the search and rescue patrol of a deep space medical ship and its six-member crew. When their vessel, the Nightingale 229, answers an emergency distress signal from a comet mining operation in a distant galaxy, but as they move in for a rescue, they discover that this isn't the mission of mercy they were expecting. They pick up a mysterious and menacing man with a strange alien artifact, who draws the ship into the orbit of a huge star that is due to explode into a supernova.

What the heck is with all the nakedness? Good grief. It was a good story with excellent special effects, it just could have been better without so much nudity. Why? Also, why the heck would a dimensional shifting drive affect only human bodies and not everything else made of matter from our universe? The ship should have looked as messed up as poor Capt. Marley after the jump. Still, with caveats, this movie is well done regardless of its unnecessary qualities. I liked it mostly.

The volume is all over the place. Both way too loud and so quiet I can't hear any words, at the same time. Unwatchable.
