Wow, what a disaster of an overrated movie. Total trash with no historical relevance except yeah they also did incredibly bad and amateurish movies in the seventies. The orginal soundtrack however is great. Probably the same with the remake - good soundtrack - bad movie. But again, this bad!!!??? Also remember what blaxploitation means: the exploitation of black people, especially with regard to stereotyped roles in films, Can't come anything good from this concept! Not in the 70's and not in 20xx (example: Black Panther which is a contemporary corporate version on steroids,, and still....the brainwashed masses don't get it.).

Fantastic soundtrack. This was the first blaxploitation movie I saw. I had seen Django Unchained before but didn't know much about the genre. Ron O Neal was Super Fly indeed. His mustache and chops transcended decades. And the hair on his gorgeous head leaped outta my computer screen. If you don't dig it you better split.
