Suffragette

Suffragette was a brilliant movie - it really captures how women were treated in the early 1900's London. The characters are interesting and realistic, and give a real backstory to many of the events within the Suffragette movement. Highly recommended.

A fictional story intertwined with actual events and people. It gives an insight to the lives of Women in Britain in the 1900s. Paid much less than men, indignities suffered in order to keep a job, no respect and the power men wielded and ease in which children could be taken away from their Mothers.

Some pretty hot lesbians but otherwise really boring.
