A very Hollywood version of Alzheimers disease. Nothing like the real thing. There needs to be a sequel to this movie, showing the way Alzheimers slowly shuts down the brain and slowly kills the one you love. I went through this with my dad and this movie is conveniently cut short before you get to the really gory part.

A very beautiful and moving film but I felt it completely missed the ending compared to the book. I realise you can't expect the movie to be exactly the same but there were some things changed that just didn't seem necessary. Why make out the older sister to be solely business-focused when in the book, the two sisters really group together as care-givers at the end?
