THIS MOVIE WAS TERRIBLE!!! THE TWO CLOWNS IN THIS MOVIE PORTRAYED THE REAL STARSKY AND HUTCH AS BUMBLING IDIOTIC FOOLS. IT WAS A TOTAL180" DEGREE TURNAROUND TO WHAT THE REAL STARSKY AND HUTCH FROM THE HIT 70's SHOW WAS REALLY ABOUT. WHICH WAS TWO HARDCORE UNDERCOVER POLICE DETECTIVES WORKING THE BEAT ON THE MEAN STREETS OF L.A. AND A FEW OTHER PLACES WITH ALITTLE HUMOR AND ALOT OF REAL HARDCORE STREET ACTION WITH A FEW REAL TOUCHING STORIES ABOUT LIFE THROWN IN THEIR. BUT I DIGRESS FOR NOW JUST TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT STARSKY AND HUTCH THE MOVIE/POOR COMEDY HAD NOTHING ON THE HARDCORE HIT TV SHOW SERIES FROM THE 70's. AMEN......P.S. OH AND SNOOPLESS DOG PLAYIN HUGGY BEAR??? WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO!!!!!

This movie has its pros and cons. I watch it for the comedy. The pros: Hilarious, the car, and Snoop Dogg is awesome as Huggy. The cons: The film doesn't follow the original show, and does not depict Starsky & Hutch, Captain Dobey, or Huggy Bear like the original show. Goes completely 180 degrees. If you haven't seen this movie, you should watch the original TV show first to get to know the true characters and story.

This movie is a horrible travesty in the making, and a complete abomination to the television show. Would of been ten times better if they'd completely stuck with the source material and made it into a serious hard nose but lite gentle humor action movie, which would of worked in the long run rather then a quick humor fix.
