I had fun with it but it's not very good. The Last Jedi was so much better and more interesting. This takes a few cool ideas and extended them but for the most part, ignores what was previously established in TLJ and canon (books, comics etc.) as a whole. Still more enjoyable than The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones though. I think it needed some more time for all aspects of production as the edit feels very rushed and some decisions feel very odd to me. 5/10 (can't do half stars)

I grew up in the original era of star wars, these new ones are for a new generation and those that complain, I'm pointing my finger at the 45+ manchilds who need to stop with the hate and grow up. These aren't for us, they are for a new generation. So please, move on. Our time is over, the new Star Wars movies are for the current generation, just watch the originals to bring back those warm fuzzy feelings. I'm content and realize that we grew up in the greatest era for movies.

This is definitely the best sequel movie. It even rates high compared with the original trilogy. It does an excellent job of cleaning up the mess that the Last Jedi left. That's something I never thought would be possible. There are some plot holes but if you just focus on the fact this is a work of fiction., you'll get your money's worth. There are plenty of twists and turns that keep you glued to your seat. It completely baffles me to why there are so many negative reviews. A must see movie and not just for Star Wars fans
