As im sure many have written here, i am one that despises this movie with a level of spite that really surprises me. the reasons have been spoken about by many better writers than me, but i think it comes down to four main points. The most irritating thing ever created in the history of the universe - Jar Jar Binks. The choice of actor for Anakin Skywalker - very distracting. The story was driven by an unimaginative line about a trade war. Finally, the palpable sense that the movie was driven by the idea of selling more happy meals at McDonalds. It felt like a sell out. Lucas should feel regret and shame about what he created after all those years. Yes. i feel like a beautiful story that was visceral and real, was wrenched away and i was given a pile of !@#$ in its place. so sad.

I know half the Star Wars fan base wants to murder me right know but honestly the main reason people rip the films apart is because obviously can't stand up to the original trilogy however i watched the prequel trilogy before the original so i couldn't really compare it to anything allowing to see it for what it was. A decent sci-fi movie with good action amazing scenery and a great score. Also I don't care how much anyone hates these movies they aren't as bad as they are made out to be.
