The only Star Wars film that i dislike. This movie singlehandedly brought down the sequel trilogy, hurting the legacy of both other trilogies in the process. An average movie on its own. But the problem is that it's part of a trilogy, and it's in a fictional universe with more history than any other. You can sum up the entire movie with one word: Mishandled (By Disney). It's the most disappointing movie I've ever seen and i feel sorry for the actors and crews that put their souls into it.

Feels like a parody of a star wars movie. Worst story telling with weak character development of episode 7 characters, perpetuating mary sue status to Rey rather than growing her into a hero we can get behind. This movie single handed wrecked it for me. I no longer care for this franchise.

Fan fiction. Most films are only as good as their direction and actors performances. Star Wars, is an artistic expression of George Lucas' imagination & storytelling ability. As such art, the first 6 in the series transcended typical measurements. This, is not a Star Wars film. Neither are the performances interesting or compellingly directed. 7 was an insult to the story by not moving on. 8 is just the next trudging step, delivered by Disney, whose cares seem to start and end with making money.
