Deleted Scene: Tatooine Sandstorm
2 minutes
This was the first scene shot for Return of the Jedi, and also the first scene cut from the film. As it was never completed, the dialogue was never re-recorded.

I am (or was) a huge Star Wars fan for DECADES. I watched the first Star Wars 13 times over a period of 4 days... and now I have to pay out the ear to see a repeat? I'm done with George Lucas and the series. * My apologies if this comment/review offends anyone. It was not my intention.

A great final chapter to the Anakin saga, it suffers the most from the brunt of Lucas's marketing desires. A more action packed retelling of the first film with Ewoks, it's worth watching for the final, heart wrenching scenes that epitomize the relationship between Luke and Vader. While I'm a purist who thinks the original is best left untouched, the ability to have it digitally is a nice addition to the collection.
