About this movie

It is the 23rd century. The Federation Starship U.S.S. Enterprise™ is on routine training maneuvers and Admiral James T. Kirk (William Shatner) seems resigned to the fact that this inspection may well be the last space mission of his career. But Khan is back. Aided by his exiled band of genetic supermen, Khan (Ricardo Montalban) - brilliant renegade of 20th century Earth - has raided Space Station Regula One, stolen a top secret device called Project Genesis, wrested control of another Federation starship, and now schemes to set a most deadly trap for his old enemy Kirk... with the threat of a universal Armageddon!

Classic Star Trek Holds up to Time. Most everything in this movie still holds up. The ear monster is the only bad looking effect. The story line is solid. The acting is nearly perfect from all. Hardcore TOS Fans like me own multiple copies and will always buy more. If your new to these movies, start with this one, you won't regret it

The episode "space seed" and this movie are absolutely epic. You gotta love ricardo montelbans portrayal of one of the most dangerous advisaries the enterprise crew ever faced. They get you going right away as explosions blow up the simulator room at the beginning and you see james t kirks character much deeper in this film as he faces something hes not familiar with: no win scenerio. Great camera shots great acting and fantastic story. This was clearly thr best star trek movie ever made. Highly recommended
