A young man in a personal tailspin (Lou Taylor Pucci) flees the US to Italy, where he sparks up a romance with a girl hiding a dark secret (Nadia Hilker). What begins as a naturalistic romance in an idyllic Mediterranean town takes an unexpected turn as the two lovers confront figurative and literal relationship monsters. Balancing dark humour, heart and visceral thrills, Spring evokes undercurrents of H. P. Lovecraft by way of Richard Linklater, while remaining its own cutting edge genre cinema. 2014 SPRING LLC

Very original, and not really horror as classified. Sort of like “Before Sunrise” with a dark twist. Try to watch it without knowing too much.
