About this movie

Writer/director/producer M. Night Shyamalan returns with an original thriller that delves into the mysterious recesses of one man's fractured, gifted mind. Though Kevin (James McAvoy) has evidenced 23 personalities to his trusted psychiatrist, Dr. Fletcher (Betty Buckley), there remains one still submerged who is set to materialize and dominate all the others. Compelled to abduct three teenage girls led by the willful, observant Casey (Anya Taylor-Joy, The Witch), Kevin reaches a war for survival among all of those contained within him - as well as everyone around him - as the walls between his compartments shatter apart. - ( Original Title - Split )

I was hooked from the beginning. The performances laid on by James McAvoy and Anya Taylor Joy were compelling. The way McAvoy was able to change from one character to another in the blink of an eye, not only in voice and behaviour but also in a quite visible physical manner was outstanding. M. Night Shyamalan is back on form. The final twist had me punching the air and screaming with delight. I am now eagerly awaiting the next installment "Glass" in 2019.

I was blown away by McAvoy ( an actor I did never have much time for) an his amazing performance. The deeper message ( for myself personally) of the movie also touched me deeply.😔 Would give it 6 stars if I could. The female lead also does a mesmerising job.
