A sadistic mastermind unleashes a twisted form of justice in SPIRAL, the terrifying new chapter from the book of SAW. Working in the shadow of an esteemed police veteran (Samuel L. Jackson), brash Detective Ezekiel 'Zeke' Banks (Chris Rock) and his rookie partner (Max Minghella) take charge of a grisly investigation into murders that are eerily reminiscent of the city's gruesome past. Unwittingly entrapped in a deepening mystery, Zeke finds himself at the center of the killer's morbid game. SPIRAL stars Chris Rock, Max Minghella, Marisol Nichols, and Samuel L. Jackson, and is produced by the original SAW team of Mark Burg and Oren Koules. The film is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman and written by Josh Stolberg & Pete Goldfinger.

This was FANTASTIC! The writers and directors all understood the material and idea behind SAW this fits in perfectly! Love it! Can't wait for part 2. Loved the acting and cast! 5/5 Hating on this movie means you just have not watched it OR you have never watched the other SAW movies. I think some of you should re-watch all the movies and come back to this one! I really want to see where this story arc goes! I want more! I understand there is meant to be 3 of these. Please don't stop here! I am not one for horror but the SAW ideals are perfect. Kill has a reason for killing!

Absolute garbage. Spiral is a very apt title. Describes the viewer's experience whilst watching this film. Guessed the killer 30 minutes in. The killers voice sounds like a very bad female impersonator. Chris Rock is totally unsuited to this role. The only saving grace is his opening discussion on his thoughts of the film Forrest Gump.

One Word - Trash! This movie is bad from start to finish Chris Rocks Bold and Beautiful weird lasting facial expressions and the pathetic voice for the killer didn't help this film and the traps Meh. If you like saw movies then stay far away from this in fact if you like movies at all stay away from this.
