It has been 2 years since this movie came out and I still feel the need to come back to it. On the first watch I didn't think too much of it, just another Spider-Man movie, but now that I have seen this movie 6 times I can see it for the great movie it is. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse follows Miles Morales as he adjusts to a new elitist school, with pressure from his police officer father to do well. One day when he is putting up some graffiti with his Uncle Aaron he is bitten by a radioactive spider and soon discovers he has the same powers as Spider-Man. An incident at Alchemax opens up a portal and brings lots of different Spider-People into Miles' dimension, causing them to team up and bring down Alchemax. First thing to talk about is the music. The music in this film is brilliant, whether it be the pulsating theme for the terrifying Prowler or Post Malone singing Sunflower, it brings you into Miles' world and the world he is suddenly launched into. This movie is really funny. It has the constant quips from Spider-Man in fight scenes, and every time Spider-Pig opens his mouth I cannot stop laughing. Almost every joke in this movie hits the mark perfectly, resulting in quite an enjoyable watch. This movie is also visually brilliant. The use of animation allows the filmmakers to make Spider-Man do things that aren't possible in live action, making the action more breathtaking than ever. Some of the themes in this movie include loss, expectations and pressure and family. These themes all have strong messages throughout that can be helpful for people of all ages to see. Overall I think it's hard to do this movie justice in my mind, and I also understand that superhero movies aren't for everyone and know that some people will enjoy it more than others, but if you want to see a superhero movie, this is the one to watch.

This is gotta be one of THE BEST films I have ever seen!!! It's uniquely animated, it's action packed, and ITS HILARIOUS Such a unique story, if I were to enjoy a good Spiderman movie, this is both for the kids and adults alike For any Spidey fan out there This film really got my attention, so interesting, and such a unique work of art out of the Spiderman franchise Not only it's a origin story, but it's a story that'll make you want to re-watch, again and again Thank you Sony

Utterly stunning film! Be warned: the movie has a specific visual style that at times has a noticeably low framerate and some objects blurring weirdly (I initially thought I was watching a movie meant to be made for 3D glasses). However, after 15 minutes I got used to the visuals and just enjoyed the film. Totally amazing visuals (once you're used to ther quirks) idiosyncratic and loveable characters, and a wonderful story that perfectly blends humour and pathos. A must-see.
