About this movie

Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) has finally managed to strike a balance between his devotion to M.J. (Kirsten Dunst) and his duties as a superhero. But when his suit suddenly changes, turning jet-black and enhancing his powers, it transforms Peter, bringing out a dark vengeful side that he struggles to control. He must now battle his inner demons as two of the most-feared villains yet, Sandman (Thomas Haden Church) and Venom (Topher Grace), gather unparalleled power and a thirst for revenge which threatens Peter and everyone he loves. © 2007 Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc. I can safely say this film is awful. It's all about the love triangle between Peter, MJ and Harry, it's more like watching a romcom, without the comedy. The superhero sequences are short and uninteresting and for some unknown reason has dance sequences and musical lines in it... Whoever thinks these are better than the new Amazing Spiderman films needs their heads checking.

If they were planning on making Spiderman 4, 5 and 6, then why couldn't they have Harry as the villain in this one, Vulture in number 4, Sandman and Harry in number 5 an Venom in number 6. Also, Gwen Stacy and MJ are terrible in this movie. This is an ACTION movie and NOT a romcom.

As bad as this film was, the other too were good so I don't know why they rebooted the franchise. I haven't seen the new remakes, but from what I can tell, they're crap as well so I hate to thing what the third or should I say sixth regurgitation will be like, if the past examples are anything to go by.
