The perfect comic book movie for us older fans who learned to read on the Spider-man comics of the 1970s. Peter Parker, Mary Jane Watson, Aunt May, the Green Goblin, J. Jonah Jameson, and all of the classic characters come to life. The key to these types of movies is that they are like rom-coms for men. The hero is really a romantic who wants to save the girl. At least the really great comics were that way. I'm not sure what those Deadpool and Batman v Superman fans are smoking.

BRUH you guys do not understand the happiness going through my body for awhile this wasn't available. So happy I never gave and and just kept looking for it. Now I can witness a true masterpiece. ..........That moment when you realize, the guy that from the wrestling thing that didn't give pete the money is the same guy talking about "you mess with one of us you mess with all of us" I love a good redemption.

Unlike other superhero origin movies, Spider-Man has heart. The emotion, feel and many other aspects help make this movie outstanding. Another favorite thing about this movie was the portrayal of the Green Goblin, which (in my opinion) was one of the greatest marvel villain performance second only to Loki. Even the way he looked was realistic more so than having him wear a rubber mask like in the comics. Quite possibly (in my opinion) this is best Spider-Man movie ever made.
