The highest truth of this movie was at the very end when the therapist said, “You know I didn’t really do anything.” This closing salvo is self-deprecation. The therapist pedantically peddles psychic drivel and always has the answer to supernatural phenomenon. Relationships, memories, and all of the dynamics in the movie were painfully contrived. How does one weekend at graduation reduce a person to emotional rubble? And, rather than the car crash fatality, why can’t the fictional Karma die
