The world needed a hero, we got a hedgehog. Powered with incredible speed, Sonic The Hedgehog (voiced by Ben Schwartz), aka The Blue Blur, embraces his new home on Earth. That is, until he accidentally knocks out the power grid and sparks the attention of super-uncool evil genius Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey). Now it’s super-villain vs. super-sonic in an all-out race across the globe to stop Robotnik from using Sonic’s unique power for world domination. Sonic teams up with The Donut Lord, aka Sheriff Tom Wachowski (James Marsden), to save the planet in this live-action adventure comedy that’s fun for the whole family.

I enjoyed it, it was a nice film. But I give it three stars not many more because there are better films made like Terminator and Alien. Also Lost Boys.

As a long standing fan of the games this film nearly gets it all right, it skews a little bit too much towards being kid friendly but you can't really hold it against it when it's just such a joy to watch 😁

The action was astonishing. The drama felt so serious of times that I didn't even expect that was going to happen and it hit me right in the gut full of saddness. The comedy made me laughing under the shooting star so hard the sgi was through the roof of what they done with sonic And Ben was one of the best sonic actors of the way he speaks. Jim was the comedy gold guy of this year of his acting but he wasn't robotnik and I liked that and I didn't. There was to much jokes but I had fun. 😊🦔🌭⚡
