According to REVELATION 1:14-15 Christ had white wooly hair and a complexion (in mentioning his feet) the color of brass that had been burned in a furnace (deep earth brown/black). However the world still seems to keep portraying Him with brown (or blonde) straight hair and skin the color of snow. It's kinda racists don't you think?

Haven't seen it but everything I have read about it warns that it rewrites several key parts of the Bible. For example it doesn't put a lot of focus on the fact that Jesus is the ONLY way to heaven. Jesus also is *NOT* meant to be a sex symbol which seems to be part of the marketing for this movie even if indirectly. Diogo Morgado who plays Jesus even made a comment about being a "sexy Jesus".

My perspective of this movie is as a Christian viewer. It saddens me that many Christians have rated this movie so well. If you are looking for a loosely based biblical account of Jesus, this movie hits the mark. If you are looking for a re-hash of The Bible series that was recently televized, this is a must see. If you are looking for a watered down version of Christianity, this will fit the bill perfectly. If you really want to know who the Son of God is read the Gospels of Matthew, Luke, Mark, and John.
