About this movie

From the Producer of Alice in Wonderland comes a new vision that turns a legendary tale into an action-adventure epic. The evil Queen Ravenna (Academy Award winner Charlize Theron) will rule forever if she can take the life of Snow White (Kristen Stewart), so she dispatches the Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) to track her down. But the wicked ruler never imagined that the Huntsman would train the girl to become a brave warrior, skilled in the art of war. Filled with intense battles and spectacular visual effects, Snow White & the Huntsman is a thrilling experience that "shouldn't be missed" - Shawn Edwards, Fox-TV.

Slightly imaginative, but not terrible cohesive retelling of the Snow White tale. Charlize Theron steals the show as the evil queen, delightfully wicked. However, the whole Snow White story itself is pretty flat and doesn't seem to flow very well. Some interesting sets but the locations don't really seem to fit other than to show some token fantasy. I liked Chris Hemsworth as the huntsman but found his character underdeveloped. Kristen Stewart is forgettable as Snow and doesn't carry the film.

I am very glad that I only rented this movie and did not actually purchase it. The plot was incredibly cliché. I was never a fan of Kristen Stewart (although I did see her in the Runaways) and this proves yet again she has NO TALENT! And for the fans of Stewart who believe those offering bad reviews for this movie because of her lack of an acting ability are really having a childish reaction to our opinions. Think about it - you're saying such things only because we don't like her acting. Silly response.

Why did Kristen Stewart become a actress? She needs to go back to school and learn to bring out emotions in her character. She has so little facial expressions. Even in Twilight she just didn't do her character justice. The movie itself didn't make any sense. I read the reviews and don't understand how some people can give this movie or Twilight 5 stars. This movie isn't too bad but it could have been better with a different cast.
