Arguably the most shocking movie ending of the early 80s Slasher boom. Post Halloween slashers, beginning with 'Friday the 13th' and on, they all had that DePalma "Carrie" reveal twist ending. Whether it made sense or not, the moviemakers put that scary ass jump scare ending, usually with an earbleed inducing synth sting or music cue and Sleepaway Camp did it best! OMG they tacked on a whopper! Historical in the anals of sleaze cinema. So stay tuned, after you seen it, you won't forget it👍😉

This movie was actually pretty good in my opinion, the acting was mediocre, and the ending is pretty bizarre but i feel like they story line was pretty good, and even though it was childish i found the humor and jokes hilarious, the acting was so bad it was funny. So overall its a pretty weird movie but i found it very enjoyable and hilarious 👍

This movie is essential to the horror genre. Not only is it a movie that stands up to some modern day flicks. This is the most obstantial horror films of all time, brining together the innocence of a child and also a murder. One half makes you want more while the other half makes you feel awful for a poor child. Some say this film is terrible others say it's a masterpiece but there's the thing it's a terrible masterpiece acting isn't per_say good. But this film is a must watch if you have any respect for the genre of horror.
